Good Bye 2007

Memories of Two-Thousand and Seven:

I applied to college.
I got my first real job.
I can finally say I'm a senior in high school.
I got my driver's license.

well, that's all the super big things i can think of at 3AM.

2008 should bring many exciting things for me. I will head off to college. The only thing that has been on my mind and on the mind of my family for about a year now. I will officially become an adult, which means I can finally vote. I plan on buying Glenn Beck's book, "An Inconvenient Book". Finally, someone who shares my ideas and doesnt think they're too "rash". :)

Those are the two things that I want most right now. To go to college and vote.

and maybe i'll save up for a car... eh. probably not.

the top ten things i want to accomplish in 2008: (no one is saying that all of these are realistic)
10. Graduate (of course!!!)
9. Travel to Italy
8.Take one day to sit and do nothing but read.
7. Keep my New Year's Resolutions!!
6. Study Abroad (this may take a few years) in England to study Shakespearean lit.
5. Write in my journal everyday.
4. Travel to my dream place. (this is a real place, but only a couple people know about it)
3. Keep my room/dorm clean.
2. Study.
1. Study.

Have a happy 2008!

Snow Day!

So, my mom cancelled seminary last night, good thing too. She woke my brother and i up at 5:45 to go to school as normal. we stand at the bus stop from 6:13 until i called her from the bus stop at 6:30. now, its a 2 hour delay. great. then, i go upstairs and pick up my room. as i finish, fairfield is closed. now, im sitting at the computer looking at all the cool christmas presents online. but of course, in the back of my mind, i know that i should be doing all of my homework. my ap english teacher gave us two assignments "in case" we didnt have school wednesday.

i still have to go to work later, not that bad though. but its gonna be my first time driving in the snow!

have a great snow day :)

College Thoughts.

For the past while, i've been studying my butt off trying to attain a great GPA to put on my applications to college. While I've been thinking about this point in my life for many years, it's hard to believe that in a few short months, I will be on my way to a new part. In a way, I'm incredibly happy to be getting away from high school. But if i go away to college, I will be leaving an awesome ward, awesome friends, and the most awesome family ever. Going to college is something I've been looking forward to for many years,. I had my college and back up picked when I was eight, my housing, and every class planned for high school since freshman year. I can't wait, but I'm glad I have a few months.
My family is completely awesome.
My mom and dad constantly support me and even let me borrow their cars. They are pretty much the best parents anyone could ever ask for.
Corrie and Andy let me come over to their house whenever and educate me with 80's movies...that i love!
Andrew and Shelley are so fun and are great movie people, always ready to go to one at midnight with me :D
I have found a new love of painting after helping Eric paint his room, which was FUN. We learned that even if we cant see the TV, watching Lord of the Rings, we still can quote and know exactly what's going on. Sad? i think not.
Spencer is my buddy, nice, even if we fight. I missed him while i was in France and was happy to come home to see him. :)
Norah is the best niece. She is so energetic, bouncy, fun, and always "has to tell me" something. She's is the spitting image of Jen.

My friends are awesome too, dont worry.
Seems a bit early for this blog, but i am working on college apps, and it got me thinkin.

Time to watch "Some kind of Wonderful" with corrie and andy.

AND...one extra hour of sleep. one does not know how awesome that is until they are a seminary student getting up at 4:30. :)

Hey There Baltimore

So, since my sister has blog, and everyone else on the planet seems to have one, I might as well.
Most of you who might read this, know me.
I'm a senior in high school: YAY! I actually like school and am preparing to go to college. I love almost any kind of movie. Especially fun ones...like Hairspray. (yay Zac Efron :D ) Corrie and I love to blast it up and sing along, even though she sings much better than me :) You cant help but sing along to every song. Which explains the title of my blog. and "Good Morning Cincinnati" doesnt have the same 'ring' as Baltimore.
